Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Known for her portrayal as Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become Queen Elizabeth III's third spouse Henry VIII in the series of the television show The Tudors and for her part in the role of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem was a young actress who started her acting journey at nine in Iceland's National Theater, is best known for playing Jane Seymour. As a youngster, she was involved in a variety of TV and radio shows, plays and other productions in Iceland. Briem became a child actor aged sixteen when she emigrated to London. She participated in an adaptation of Lenin, in Love at The New End Theater. Briem graduated from his school, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1921 and received the John Barton Prize and a diploma in drama.
